Privacy Policy

Kravoy ("we", "us", "our") provides free online tools at kravoy.com. This policy explains what data we collect, what stays entirely on your own device, and why — written to reflect exactly how each tool actually works, not a generic template.

The Short Version

The large majority of tools on Kravoy — every image editor, calculator, CSS generator, color tool, and text utility — run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type, upload, or generate in those tools is ever sent to our servers. A small number of tools genuinely need to fetch something from elsewhere to work at all, and those are listed specifically below.

Tools That Send a Request to Our Backend

Only these tools send anything to a Kravoy server, and only what's needed to do the one thing you asked:

  • Schema Markup Checker — sends the page URL you enter so our server can fetch and read that page's HTML (a browser cannot read another site's page directly). We don't store the URL or the page content.
  • YouTube Tags Extractor and Title/SEO Analyzer ("load from URL") — sends the video URL you enter so our server can read that video's public metadata. We don't store it.

The API Request Tester sends requests directly from your own browser to whatever URL you type in — that traffic goes straight from you to that third-party server, never through Kravoy. The DNS Lookup tool queries Google's public DNS-over-HTTPS service directly from your browser for the same reason — neither passes through our servers either.

Local Storage — Saved on Your Device, Not Ours

Many tools save your work so it's there next time you visit — a saved invoice template, notes, a Kanban board, Pomodoro session history, a saved city list, recent API requests, and similar. This is stored using your browser's local storage, physically on your own device. We have no access to it, it's never transmitted anywhere, and clearing your browser data removes it permanently — we can't recover it for you.

Accounts

Creating an account (used for saving editable Dynamic QR codes) collects your email address, name if provided, and a securely hashed password — we never store your password in plain text. Logging in sets a single authentication cookie, marked HTTP-only so it can't be read by page scripts, used only to keep you signed in.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies:

  • Authentication cookie — set only if you create an account and log in, to keep your session active. Not set for anonymous visitors.
  • Google Analytics cookies — set for all visitors to understand overall traffic and which tools are used most (pages visited, approximate location from IP, device type). We use this in aggregate; it is not used to identify you personally.

A cookie notice appears on your first visit — accepting or dismissing it is remembered in your browser so it doesn't appear again.

Third-Party Services

  • Google Analytics — website usage analytics, described above.
  • Google Fonts — fonts used on this site are self-hosted at build time, so your browser never contacts Google's font servers directly when you load a page.
  • Google's public DNS-over-HTTPS API — used only by the DNS Lookup tool, called directly from your browser.

What We Don't Do

  • We don't sell your data.
  • We don't run advertising networks or ad-tracking scripts on this site.
  • We don't read or store the files, text, or images you process in any client-side tool — we technically cannot, since that data never leaves your browser.

Your Rights

If you have an account, you can request access to or deletion of your account data at any time by reaching out through our Contact page. Since most tool usage never reaches our servers in the first place, there is typically nothing further to delete beyond your account record.

Children's Privacy

Kravoy is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as tools change. Meaningful changes will update the "Last updated" date above.
