Beyond a Basic Time Converter

Knowing that 9am your time is 7pm somewhere else doesn't answer the real question — is that actually a reasonable hour for them? This tool takes each person's defined working hours, checks every hour of the day against all of them at once, and highlights exactly where they overlap, so you're picking from real options instead of guessing.

How to Use This Tool

  1. 1Pick the meeting dateMatters for accuracy across Daylight Saving changes, not just the day of the week.
  2. 2Add everyone's cityYour own timezone is detected automatically and shown as the first row.
  3. 3Adjust working hours per cityNot everyone works 9–6 — set each city's actual range for an accurate overlap.
  4. 4Click a green hour and copy itGet a ready-to-paste line showing that exact time in every added city's local time.

Good to Know

  • Green cells mean that hour falls within the working hours you set for that city; red means it doesn't — a fully green column across every row is a genuinely good time to meet.
  • If no column is fully green, look for the closest one — someone taking an early or late call is often a more realistic outcome than searching for a perfect slot that doesn't exist.
  • The grid is built for one specific date, not a recurring weekly pattern, since offsets can shift with Daylight Saving Time on either side.
  • The copy button formats the selected hour in every city's own local time, ready to paste directly into an email or a Slack message.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is my own timezone detected?

From your browser's system timezone setting — the same information any website can read to show you your own local time correctly.

Why does the grid use my local hours instead of UTC?

Planning a meeting is almost always framed around "what time is that for me" — using your own local hours as the reference axis keeps the grid intuitive without an extra mental conversion step.

Can I remove or change my own working hours?

Your working hours (default 9am–6pm) are editable the same way as any added city's — your row just can't be removed since it's the grid's reference point.

Does this account for weekends or holidays?

No — it only calculates hour overlap for the single date you've selected, so double-check that date isn't a weekend or holiday for any of the cities involved.

Is this free to use?

Yes — completely free, with no account and no limit on how many cities you can add.
