How do I make a meme with text on top and bottom?

Add your picture and keep the "Text on image" layout. Type in the two boxes: the text is put in white Impact letters with a black outline, in capitals, and wraps and shrinks to fit. Tap Download or Share.

How do I make a caption meme (text above the picture)?

Choose "Caption above". Your first text goes into a white band above the picture in dark, normal-case text, the style used for most memes on Instagram, X and Reddit. "Caption below" puts the band under the picture.

Do I need a meme template?
