From Tracked Time to a Sendable Invoice, in One Step

Most time trackers stop at the timesheet — you still have to copy the hours and rate into a separate invoicing tool by hand. Here, once you've logged time against a client, the "Generate Invoice" button opens Kravoy's Invoice Maker with that client, their tracked hours, and their rate already filled in as a line item — the two tools work as one connected workflow instead of two disconnected pages.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is this a manual start/stop timer instead of automatic tracking?

A manual timer is what every major time-tracking tool actually uses, freelancer or not — automatic background tracking requires OS-level access a browser simply can't provide. It also keeps the tool honest and private: nothing runs or tracks anything unless you've explicitly started it.

Can I set different rates for different clients or projects?

Yes — each client has a default hourly rate, and any project can optionally override it with its own rate. Many competing tools restrict multiple rates to a paid tier; it's free here.

How does the "Generate Invoice" button work?

It takes a client's total tracked hours and rate for the period you're viewing and opens the Invoice Maker with a line item already filled in — the client name, hours, and rate — so you go straight from tracked time to a sendable invoice instead of retyping numbers.

Is my time data stored anywhere besides my own browser?

No — clients, projects, and every logged entry are stored in your browser's local storage only. Nothing is uploaded to a server, which also means clearing your browser data will clear your tracked time, so export a CSV periodically if you want a backup.

What happens if I close the tab while the timer is running?

The running timer is saved locally, so reopening this page picks up right where you left off — it keeps counting based on when you actually started it, not when you reopened the tab.
